Hannah's Birthday

Hannah had a mini birthday at home in Victoria once Daddy got back from work friday, October 17th! She had her own cupcake at 9 am! Yummy!

Grandma and Hannah before Sunday School. Hannah was a little anxious to get there and not so excited about sitting still to take a picture!

Since Hannah is almost 2, she was able to go to Grandma G's Sunday School Class. Grandma teaches Sunday School to the 2 year olds. Hannah had a great time listening to stories, singing songs and decorating a picture with stickers. She also got to play with a kitchen and babies for the first time which she thoroughly enjoyed. Her friend, Austin, was also there playing with the kitchen and babies. Hannah can't wait to go back again!

More of Summer-Part 3

Uncle B came to visit again and we went to the Texas Zoo in Victoria amongst other fun activities!

Hannah and Her Medal

Hannah was a part of the Summer Olympics for her Gymnastics Class. She had her name called,

stood on a platform and received a medal which was difficult to take off of her for weeks after the fact!

Summer Time Pics-Catching Up Part 2

I am trying to catch up with our pictures from the summer! It has been a little crazy around here lately! Here are some pics from our trip to Corpus Christi for Caleb's training school. Our hotel was right on the beach! This was Hannah's first beach trip!! We had a really good time playing in the water and the sand. Hannah is fascinated with sea gulls, so she got her fill of them during our visit. While Caleb was at training one day, Hannah and I visited the Texas State Aquarium. She liked seeing the dolphins, seals and lots of goldfish (she calls every fish a goldfish) that lived there!

Feet and Belly Pics 33 weeks

So the exciting thing today is that Noah has made it past the time that Hannah came early...by a day so far! I know that may not seem like a lot, but I guess I have been a bit like Chicken Little in thinking that Noah would FOR SURE come the same day for whatever reason. He hasn't...so we will continue to pray that he stays comfortable inside of Mommy! So here are some comparison pics of feet! The pics of my feet with the ankle bracelet on show how badly swollen I was with Hannah! I included one pic of my feet currently-they have the nice flip flop tan to them...not so bad, huh?! The other 2 pics are my belly as of today-I no longer have pics to compare them to! Noah is going to break new ground! Woo Hoo! I still have pics I need to post from our trip to Corpus and other summer ending memories. I will try to get to them soon! It's hard to believe that our baby girl will be 2 years old in 3 days!! Where has the time gone?!

Trying to Play Catch Up!

So it has been awhile since we last updated the blog...sorry about that. We have been living quite a bit you know along with doing some moving. Our moving has taken about 3 weeks and we still have some unpacking and reorganizing to do, but WE ARE SO EXCITED ABOUT OUR NEW HOUSE!! It's driving me crazy to not be able to help Caleb more with the packing, unpacking and moving, but we do not want our precious baby boy to come into this world quite yet! I have been having the braxton hicks contractions, but they have gotten a lot better since Caleb had a nice talk with me about what it was like for us when we had to leave Hannah in the nicu since she came early. If he were to follow Hannah's schedule, he would be born next week-in approximately 4 days actually. Even though we are very excited for him to enter into this world, we can wait a little bit longer!

By the way, his name is now officially Noah Daniel Childress. The "Daniel" was always going to be that since Caleb wanted him to have part of his brother, Nathan's name. The first name was the interesting part. It had come down to Noah and Eli (Caleb's middle name and also a family name). Caleb finally decided that Noah was the one!!! Hannah can already say "baby bruddas" name! She gives him hugs and kisses all of the time! She is going to be such a good big sister! The picture you see to the far right is my belly at a little over 28 weeks with Noah. The first 2 pictures are my belly at almost 32 weeks with Hannah. I will try to get another more recent pic of my belly added to this entry so the comparing can continue since I am almost 33 weeks with him!! By the way, my feet look NOTHING like they did with Hannah thank goodness! I will put some comparison pics up soon too! I think nap time is almost over! I'll be back!!!!
